The institution has adopted many central Government schemes and skill set courses to The institution aims at imparting standard education which produces highly proficient engineers with skills that is needed in industry sector. The college also takes quality measures in training the students in communication and aptitude with special care.
Apart from engineering courses there are courses like AICTE-PMKY-TI and DDUGKY that are successfully conducted by the college through which the relationship between the college and community is well connected. The college selects the unemployed rural youth and offers the above mentioned courses through which employment opportunity has been created to the rural youth and they get placed in reputed companies or else they can become good and successful entrepreneurs. Further the institution has established Institution Innovation Council (IIC) through MHRD and IPR (Intellectual property Rights, Design and Innovation Thinking, Incubation cell has been successfully run under it. Again through MSME, the innovative projects of students are recognized and allocated with funds up to 1 crore of amount to get machineries to complete their projects.
TNSDC (Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation) is a yet another component by which the Skill Development Training and placement for unemployed youth takes place regularly, along with this a project has been applied to have an association with NABARD to help youth with poor financial background to have an employment. The institution is also recognised by NSDC (National Skill Development Corporation as "The Centre of Accreditation and Affiliation" (A&A). Meanwhile, An Applied Research project has been applied to MNRE (Ministry of New Renewable Energy) worth 45.16 lks. EDC (Entrepreneur Development Cell) has also been established in 2012 to generate entrepreneurs. To instigate the research ideas of students IPR (Innovation Patent Rights) Cell has been run from the 2017.

There are many programmes under NSS that is connected with UBA conducts many programmes and events in the adopted villages. The events like blood donation camp, eye camp, tree plantation, and many awareness programmes on environment, health and hygiene, political knowledge and government schemes on education and development has been successfully disseminated to the people. Hence the institution determined to transmit education with high value and social knowledge.
